Internship in Accounting & Financial Management in a 5* Hotel in Porto-Vecchio

This amazing 5-star hotel located in Porto-Vecchio overlooks the Mediterranean Sea. Although it is situated in the green area by the water’s edge, the hotel is also located next to the city center of the old town of Porto Vecchio. Next door is one of the most beautiful beaches in Corsica with crystal clear waters and guaranteed white sand. 

The hotel also has a Michelin-starred restaurant, a luxurious spa and an infinity pool overlooking the sea. The hotel is also sometimes the venue for seminars and conferences and offers other various services (transfers in helicopter, scuba diving, boat rental, etc.).

IES Consulting has been working with this hotel since 2013 and all feedback from our trainees has been positive: excellent hospitality and professional training throughout the course.

Accounting tasks:

• Verification of monthly and daily entries on Quadra Compta
• Collaboration with the collection team to capture invoices
• Monitoring and control of payments and collections
• Management of the fund
• Intermediate reporting
• Establishing provisional budgets in collaboration with the manager

The tasks in logistics:

• Supervision of goods tracking (ordering, receiving and verification) and transfer to the accounting team
• Inventory Management: Entering Delivery Notes and Invoices
• Logistics and strategic support during monthly inventories (software input, ratio control …)
