Our partner company is a successful Publisher in Germany that was founded in 1994. It is located in the Berlin city center. The company is specialized in the field of homeopathy.
Their vision is to make this topic comprehensible and understandable, to creat an easy access for homeopathy interested individuals, students, beginners and advanced homeopaths. Their current range includes about 2000 media releases like books, CDs and DVDs.
The company offers exciting internship positions during the whole year for independent, active and creative people. This dynamically- and rapidly-growing, publishing company provides interns with an insight into all relevant working areas and daily processes.
Internship tasks:
This internship will give you a comprehensive insight into a modern state-of-the-art webshop and its software framework, with opportunities to be creative on all levels, backend and/or frontend. You can participate in the further development of our SHOPWARE webshop, develop your own modules or modify existing ones:

Migration of the shopware 5.x (currently 5.6) architecture to the upcoming Shopware 6.

Adapation of our own plugins and extensions (modules) or modifying existing ones to SW6

Integration and adaptation of additional functionality like streaming processes and other special features

Developing additional functions (additional features, independent plugins)

Redesigning Frontend themes (Frontend) is also possible, if you are interested

Optimization of adaptations on other devices (responsiveness, improvement of scalability)

Conception of interfaces between internal publishing software and webshop
Requirements for the applicant:
Studies
Education or specialized study in IT and/or E-Commerce (e. g. informatics, economy informatics, media informatics and/or education as a webdesigner or programmer)
