In Mexico the standard schedule is six days a week for 8 hours a day with breaks for meals. During their free time, the hotel´s interns usually go to Cancún, to the beach, or to the tourist areas such as natural cenotes that can be found on the whole Riviera Maya.
The hotel provides uniform to all its students during the internship.
Internship tasks:
This internship as receptionist in Mexico take place in a great five stars hotel in Riviera Maya. The student will be part of the team and, through the manager supervision, will be part of the following actions:
- Doing the check-in and welcoming of new clients.
- Doing the check-out and confirm that there are no pending payments before the clients are leaving the hotel.
- Bring information about touristic places in Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Maya’s ruins and others.
- Communicate or resolve any incidence.
- Get the incoming calls by phone and re-send them to rooms or to the right department.
- Be in contact with reservations department to be sure about the arrival of new clients.
- Keep the reception clean and nice.
