This small 4-star hotel allows students to have a truly international experience: located in a quiet residential neighbourhood, it has international clients eager to discover the city.

With 1-2 students in the hotel, they can provide personalised training for each of them, consolidating their strengths and improving their weaknesses.

The group that owns this hotel has been collaborating with us since 2010, and is recognised throughout the European Union by providing its students with excellent training in the departments such as front office, booking, events, management, F&B and as Assistant Director.

Its team is multicultural and its main customers are business representatives and families of Spanish and French origin. Given the characteristics of the internship, the student will be immersed in the Spanish culture and thus will be able to improve their level of language, and have a quality experience in the world of tourism.


Internship tasks:

Depending on the hotel Management, and acting as a link between the headquarters (HR, Payroll, occupational hazards), the Administration department is looking for an intern to be trained in the following tasks:

  • Controllling and billing 
  • controlling the incoming transfers (credit card and payment order charges)
  • preparing the incoming cash (twice a week) for entering it into account
  • incoming mail management
  • requesting financial reports and credit conditions for client companies
  • billing credit clients (investigating billing incidents)
  • investigating reclaims for double charges or errors in charges
  • Tax preparation.
  • Assist the payroll and workers control.

Requirements for the applicant:

Studies

Business Administration, Finance, Accounting

Required languages

Spanish – B2

Desired experience

Previous experience in a hotel will be valued.

IT skills

MS Office; valued HR and/or accounting software

Other requirements

Customer service and communication skills
