Internship in Operations and contact with clients in a Logistics company in Barcelona

This company is a maritime transport operator of an international group, present throughout the Mediterranean. Are you majoring in logistics and transport? Have you studied international business and want to have a more specific first experience in an international logistics company?

Do you want to do it in a large international group, in its headquarters in Barcelona? Can you speak Spanish and English?

This company has been offering maritime, logistics, and port services to its customers for many years, and has a team of over a thousand people. We have been working with them since 2006, and every intern who has gone through its maritime transport department has left certain of their profesional skills in the logistics area, and having a wonderful life experience in the Catalan capital.

The student will support the management and coordination of transport of merchandise in one of the company’s departments. The tasks will be:

• Reception and opening of reservations. 
• Revision of providors bills. 
• Management of different stages of the export and import process. 
• Coordination of collection and entries. 
• Preparation of embarkment knowledge. 
• Revision of documents. 
• Clear up doubts and be in constant contact with the clients to keep them informed of the status of their operations.  
• Guarentee that all places are filled in each process
