Internship in Marketing and sales assistant in a 4-star hotel chain in Las Palmas

IES Consulting is collaborating with this resort since 2015 and right from the start it showed great responsibility and compassion with our students. It offers internships in areas like marketing, animation, reception and the restaurant. The location of all the hotels and apartments in Gran Canaria is Puerto Rico, famous for its sunshine guaranty all year long as well as its various offers for free time activities.

You would have the opportunity to improve your knowledge in this sector under the supervision of your tutor. Furthermore you could practice your language skills, since the tourism sector has the advantage of being able to communicate with people from all over the world. In customer service areas you will be taught the policies and protocols of quality to provide excellent service.

Managing of social network channels, contract processing, agency services, claims management. You will be responsible for the management of reservations made directly through our direct channels, continuous support in sales actions that are developed and continuously communicate with all our partners in the marketing of the hotel.

Room shared with another person of the same gender. Accommodation could be inside the hotel or outside. If you are outside it would be close so you could get there by walking or bus.

If the accommodation is inside the hotel the Wifi is free. In case of accommodation outside the hotel the student would most likely have to pay for the wifi.

Self service laundry: the student has to pay for this service – €4 for washing and €3 for drying. There is an option to look at other self services outside the hotel that may be more economic.
