In the south of the beautiful island Lanzarote this Hotel can be found, a magnificent complex awarded with five stars that forms part of a large, international group. They are looking for a student that is interested in gaining the competencies needed to be a professional in the tourism and hotel sector.

Do you want to assure your professional career as receptionist, waiter, in human resources, event managing or public relations? This experience will help you build the formation of your career in this sector.

The hotel is offering monthly remuneration and also provides accommodation in form of a shared room as well as free meals each day of your stay. You will also be provided the uniform and access to the washing machine. Working hours are flexible, like in every hotel in the world. You will work 8 hours per day at the maximum, for 5 days per week followed by 2 days off. What are you waiting for? Send us your CV and come to the Canary Islands!

Internship tasks:

  • Define the policy and internal communication strategy to be followed together with the General Directorate of the hotel;
  • Create, schedule and implement the assigned internal communication plan content to the channels;
  • Manage and develop internal communication channels (newsletter, internal magazine, intranet / Community, etc.);
  • Write and/or edit internal communication contents (corporate news, meetings, new incorporations, results, briefings, organizational changes etc.) encouraging employee participation;
  • Watch over the work climate;
  • Identify opportunities for information, ensure that there are two-way communication mechanisms and propose actions that inform the rest of the company of the projects and initiatives that are carried out in the hotel;
  • Ensure that the communication criteria are applied homogeneously throughout the organization;
  • Encourage the use of internal communication channels among workers and promote their content as a means of internal cohesion;
  • Create internal communication campaigns;
  • Collaborate in the creation and implementation of actions to strengthen the corporate culture of the company;
  • Organize important social events: anniversary of the company, meals, Christmas dinner, etc .;
  • Train and provide advice on communication skills to all staff, especially leaders and middle managers.
