Internship offer in Restaurants and kitchen in Sanxenxo
Information about the company that’s offering the internship:
Our partner hotel is located in Galicia and it´s a 4-star resort with a spa in a small town on the coast. IT´s part of a small Spanish hotel chain, and we´ve been collaborating with them since 2010 providing excellent experiences to interns.
Galicia is a region that surprises travellers, and the Galicians are most hospitable people. The region is not very well-known outside of Spain, but it has great attractions on the national level: nature, wild coast, cuisine and exquisite wines, historic cities… Would you like to be trained as a receptionist, waiter or cook? This experience will help you start a carrer in hospitality.
The hotel offers monthly remuneration, a bed in a shared room and 3 meals each day of your stay. They will also give you a uniform and free access to the washing machine. The weekly schedule varies, as in every hotel in the world, but you´ll work max. 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, with 2 consecutive days off a week. Internship tasks:
- stocking groceries
- helping Chefs in preparing dishes (for example: clean and peel fruits and vegetables, cut bread and meat)
- preparing and presenting dishes
- preparing and presenting cakes and desserts
- unpacking and storing groceries in freezers and other storage areas
- keeping the working area clean (eg, cleaning work surfaces, utensils and pans, cabinets and kitchen equipment)
