Internship offer in Restaurants and kitchen in Valencia
Information about the company that’s offering the internship:
5-star hotel located in the centre of Valencia. We’ve been collaborating with them since 2012. It belong to a Spanish hotel chain with presence in Alicante, Seville, Madrid, and Mallorca. It is in a building with great architectural value, a beautiful patio, restaurant and spa.
You’ll have the opportunity to do your internship in a small luxury hotel in the heart of the city, and improve your languages. Valencia is a well-known city visited by tourists from all over the world.
They offer you a training experiences supervised by a tutor in areas such as reception, spa, and restaurant. You will also receive a monthly compensation and usually free accommodation as well as a free meal during your shift.
Internship tasks:
The hotel’s philosophy is quality and excellent customer service. For this reason we are looking for a dynamic person interested in customer service to undertake the following tasks:
- Prepare, replace and change the material before and during the service
- Pick up the food that the waiter and / or supervisor has requested
- Serve the customers
- Take care of customer requests
- Collect orders from the customers and bring them to the office
- Give information about events, our services and hours
- The proper functions of your position in points of sale will be mainly the Bar and Garden
- Collaboration with other departments of the hotel, which are related to your position and functions
Rotating shifts usually from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m.
40 hours a week. 8 hour a day, 5 days a week. 2 consecutive days off a week, and one weekend off a month.
