Internship in Cooking Assistant at Hotel 4* of the Balearic Islands in Menorca

They have an international team focused on the customer, who can train in the different areas, offering guidance and supervision during all the internship. You’ll have contact with customers from all over the world, which will allow you to improve your languages and gain international experience.

The Hotel receives students in several departments of the Hotel, such as: Recepción, Room/Restaurant and Kitchen.

The 3 establishments (1 in the south of the island and 2 in the north) are family friendly and strive to make each family have a wonderful holiday.

• Perform raw material sourcing.
• Help cooks prepare food (e.g., clean and peel fruits and vegetables, cut bread and meat)
• Prepare and present preparations and elementary dishes.
• Prepare and submit pastry and pastry products&
• Prepare and present different types of regional, national, international and creative cuisine, etc.
• Unpack and store stock in freezers, cabinets and other storage facilities
• Keep the work area clean (e.g. by cleaning work surfaces, utensils and pans, cabinets and kitchen equipment
• Perform restaurant dishes.
• Occasional support to the Restaurant Department in customer service and room.
