Internship in Assistant as Waiter in a luxury hotel in Mallorca

This 5 star luxury hotel, is located in the center of the city of Mallorca: one of the prime tourist destination of the Balearic Islands. It belongs to a large Spanish hotel chain with which we have been collaborating since 2012. Here you will be given the opportunity to gain experience you are looking for in areas such as reception, kitchen and catering department.

They offer a supervised internship by a tutor and include financial benefits at the end of each month. They are looking for students with training in catering, tourism, languages or administration.

The necessary skills for this internship are customer service, empathy, commitment and responsibility. These are essential tools to work in the customer service area of a luxury 5 star hotel such as this one.  

You will be in the heart of the city of Mallorca which will allow you to enjoy its surroundings and cultural activities in the city center.

In this position, you would deal with the different daily tasks in the restaurant:

• Preparation of the salon
• Deliver and place customers orders
• Manage the cash point
• Clean the working area
• Prepare and present drinks
• Receive the complaints and suggestions of the customers and deliver them to your supervisor, in case you can´t solve them
• Take orders
• Knowledge of the hotel timstable as well as their services and products. 
• Knowledge of the rules of presence, safetly and hygiene
