Internship in Front Office + Director`s assistent in Menorca

Since 2013 more than 50 students from all over Europe have realised their internships at different hotels of this chain, mainly in the departments like reception, F&B, Kktchen and as Assistant Director.

They offer student accommodation in shared rooms (3-4 persons per room), meals in the staff cantine and a monthly financial aid.

They provide them with a friendly, professional training and an unforgettable summer stay!

The student will do his/her internship within the front office department (reception) and will also support the director and subdirector of the hotel with various tasks.

RECEPTION TASKS:

• Welcome all guests and visitors of the hotel
• Assist in the requirements of the guests before, during and after their stay at the hotel
• Answer phone calls and faxes
• Offer information about the hotel and offers for tourists
• Help with check-in and check-out
• Know about the hotel prices and offers

DIRECTION`S ASSISTANT TASKS:

• Supervision of staff and revision of schedules
• Attention to clients (PR)
• Help to create procedures to improve services
• Evaluate weekly surveys
• Quality control of the external companies (cleaning and kitchen)
• Help the directors implement new ideas

The student will receive accommodation in shared apartments within the hotel as well as 3 daily meals.

The internship lasts from May 15^th until September 30^th.
