Internship in Natural reserve tour guide and 5-star hotel rrpp in Ibiza

This internship will take place in an amazing hotel group that includes hotels of 4 and 5 stars. This organisation has hotels in different locations throughout Spain and even in Mexico. They offer amazing resorts, with luxury rooms, restuarants and magnificient pools. One of their hotels is an eco hotel, which has earnt the group great recognition within the industry. 

This group has 8 hotels located in Benidorm, Ibiza, Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Lanzarote in Spain. In Mexico they have resorts in Cancún, los Cabos and Playa del Carmen. 

In their team they have had various interns and students in all of the departments: reception, PR, tourism, kitchen, as well as events and animation. 

The interns who have the pleasure of doing their internship in this hotel will have use of accommodation (10 minutes from the hotel), which is shared with other students, as well as meals and a monthly salary. They will be accompanied by the Head of the Department throughout the internship in order to make sure that the student has a full formation in all of the relevant tasks. 

The hotel is looking for an intern who can express themselves correctly in Spanish, English, and who (ideally) also understands French. The idea is for the intern to help as a tour guide around the beautiful natural areas under the supervision of their coordinator and the department manager.

The main tasks of this training experience are:

• being a tour guide during scheduled visits to the natural reserve under the department manager´s supervision
• helping with the public relations tasks at the restaurant (inform about the guided tours)
• customer service at the reception in order to manage bookings of excursions and guided tours
• solving doubts and answering questions of clients and tourists about the hotel and services offered
• helping at the reception with communication, toruist information, and especially booking management and information about the guided tours
• attending the department meetings
• looking and behaving in an impeccable way in front of the clients
