Some of the tasks you will be expected to perform on a daily basis in the hotel reception may include: 

• Greet all guests and vistors 
• Check guests in and check outs
• Answer phone calls and emails
• Resolve problems in the quickest and most effective way possible
• Attend to the guests before, during and after their stay at the hotel 
• Assign rooms
• Inform guests of all the services the hotel offers as well as touristic help about things to do in the town
• Establish and maintain a good relationship and constant communication with clients and the rest of the deparments 
• Customer service mainly in German/English language
• Provide all the information a guest might need, answer questions, give recommendations about the hotel, region and services
• Managing invoices
• Receive and managing reservations
