Internship in Reception assistant and other departments in Menorca

Charming boutique hotel located in Menorca, in a privileged area surrounded by stunning nature and beaches. It is a natural area where people relax and enjoy the excellent natural environment of the island. The hotel looks for dynamic people and with a great inclination to customer service and the hotel. Although it is not required that you have studies in hotel and tourism, it is important that you have great commitment and motivation for the sector.

It requires being a hardworking, agile and a kind person. We have been in contact with this hotel since 2011, sending students to support in two of the most important departments of the hotel: reception and restaurant. Being a small hotel you will be among these 2 areas, supporting the reception and helping in the breakfast area and the two dining areas, one located on a beautiful terrace and the other in a lounge. The hotel offers shared accommodation and 350 € gross per month.

The position is divided into several missions so that the student has a complete view of the operations of the hotel. The student will do the internship at the reception and the bar and restaurant located on the terrace.

• Accommodation Management: Check-In & Check-Out
• Assistance for tourist information, information about the hotel, timetables and more.
• Reception of internal and in some cases external customer calls .
• Management of several daily requests.
• Help in the bar restaurant to serve food, show the customer the rooms and welcome guests.
• Take orders.
• Prepare tables.
• Other tasks in the department.
