We are talking about a 5-star hotel, famous on the Canary Islands for its beautiful structure and fantastic service, one that has provided internship experiences to students from all over Europe over the years; it´s a company who really offers training experience.

Front Office, Booking, Administration, Quality Control, Purchasing and Food&Beverage are only a few departments in which this great luxury tourist company has placed interns since before 2010, always thanks to their wonderful HR coordination and tutors in charge of interns. With many interns at the same time, the experience turns out to be more dynamic.

It is worth mentioning that all interns accepted by this great hotel have free accommodation and 3 meals a day, also provided by the company. The weekly work schedule is 5 days, with 2 days off a week to enjoy in this magnificent place.


Internship tasks:

This internship is for a student who´d like to explore the world of hotels and use their excellent communication and customer service skills in various languages. The internship is paid, and the hotel also offers free accommodation and board during the whole experience.

The main tasks during this internship will be:

  • Informing clients and guests about the hotel´s services and schedules
  • Informing clients about tourist attractions around the hotel and on the island in general
  • Receiving the incoming guests and registering them (check-in)
  • Seeing out the outgoing guests and registering the check-out
  • Managing room changes and all other incidents
  • Updating the room occupancy information
  • Maintaining the work area clean and in order
  • Attending department meetings in order to be informed about procedures, changes, and other aspects of work
  • Communicating with the PR department about incoming griups and VIPs

Studies

Languages, Tourism, Hotel Management, Communication, Public Relations

Required languages

Spanish – B1
English – B1

Desired experience

Valued experiences in hotels or in tourism in general, also in customer service

IT skills

MS Windows, MS Office, Internet, social networks

Other requirements

Valued politeness, elegancy, good communication and customer service skills
