This position is in an excellent 4-star resort located in the Canary Islands, more precisely in Lanzarote. They offer the perfect relaxing getaway where couples, friends or newlyweds can enjoy a peaceful vacation. 

They offer a variety of rooms from a standard room to a suite with seafront views. All the rooms are fully equipped with a television, telephone, air condition and complimentary tea and coffee. 

This hotel depends on a team of professionals, dedicated to offering the best service possible to their clients to give them unforgettable experiences. The guests are also able to enjoy their restaurant service, two climatized swimming pools, musical shows, activities and more. 

There are various positions available,  at the reception, bartending, assistant chef, waiters and many more. The team managers are people with a long history of leadership and are always hiring interns to allow them to develop their skills and learn from valuable experience. You will receive training and constant support throughout your internship in this grand hotel. 

Internship tasks:

This internship in tourism,  takes place in the reception department of this fantastic hotel resort. You will receive training and supervised by the head of reception who will be responsible for the student´s effective learning and development in the following tasks:

  • Welcome new guests,  check-in, check out and assign rooms.
  • Inform new guests about the hotel’s facilities and services, as well as meal times.
  • Advise guests about tourism on the island, tourist attractions and the most beautiful beaches.
  • Take phone calls and pass them to the room or department they are looking for.
  • Make every effort to respond to customers in their native language.
  • Maintain a close contact with the reservation department and keep track of the customers arrivals and departures
  • Inform the supervisor in case of any incident.
  • Register the departure of customers on the day of their check-out and wish them a happy trip.

Requirements for the applicant:


Tourism, Commerce, Business, Foreign Languages, Communication, International Relations

Required languages

English – C1
Spanish – B1

Desired experience

Any experience in the hotel sector is appreciated

IT skills

Windows, Office, Internet, social networks

Other requirements

We are looking for a nice, cheerful and smiling person who knows how to treat clients
