Internship in Reception assistant in a 4-star hotel on the Galician coast in Sanxenxo

Our partner 4-star hotel with a spa is located in Rías Baixas of Galicia, in a small town on the coast. The offer excellent professional experiences to their interns thanks to the close supervision of the team and the management, and thanks to their exclusive treatment of guests.

Galicia is a region that surprises travellers, and the Galicians are most hospitable people. The region is not very well-known outside of Spain, but it has great attractions on the national level: nature, wild coast, cuisine and exquisite wines, historic cities… Would you like to be trained as a receptionist, waiter or cook? This experience will help you start a carrer in hospitality.

The hotel offers monthly remuneration, a bed in a shared room and 3 meals each day of your stay. They will also give you a uniform and free access to the washing machine. The weekly schedule varies, as in every hotel in the world, but you´ll work max. 8 hours a day, 5 days a week, with 2 consecutive days off a week. During the internship the student will be trained in performing the tasks at the reception:

• answering calls
• receiving and welcoming clients
• check-in and check-out
• giving information about the hotel´s services
• giving tourist information about the local services
• attending all clients´ needs
• troubleshooting
• other administrative tasks of the department
