Internship offer in Tourism, reception and animation in London

This international company is dedicated to offering accomodation in luxury hostels, with hostels in places such as London and Barcelona. They are looking for talented students who want to be a part of their team.

Their hostels are recognised in the tourism industry as offering luxury accomodation and high quality service. If you are looking for an international experience whilst improving your communication skills, being surrounded by people from all over the world and you want to work in a dynamic environment then this is the opportunity for you. 

The hostel offers variedinternships in Reception and Event Organisation withthe the objective of the student developing their knowledge in all areas of the industry.

The hostel offers accomodation and meals. In the London hostel the student will have one meal per day and in Barcelona a breakfast style buffet will be included.

On top of this when a student is organising an event they are more than welcome to make the most of foood on offer. 

The students will be given a uniform.

** For a 2 month internship, the internship will not be paid. 

Internship tasks:

Become a part of this international company! In this internship you will be able to consolidate all of your knowledge from the world of tourism and hotelery. You will be in contact with tourists from all around the world and you will help in the following tasks: 

  • Welcome new clients and register them into their rooms. 
  • Inform guests about the hostel’s services. 
  • Offer information about the opening hours of the restaurant and the meal services. 
  • Offer information about tourism in the region. 
  • Make sure to maintain the register updated in terms of guests who are in the hostel. 
  • Welcome groups of tourists in different languages. 
  • Contact with clients by phone. 
  • Collaborate during service with the restaurant and bar. 
  • Back Office tasks. 
  • Assignment of tables in the restaurant. 
  • Support in the management of corporate events. 
  • Organisation of the rooms and tables for events. 
  • Offer clients a high quality service whilst making recommendations. 
  • Organisation of tables and cuttlery before, during and after service of meals. 
  • Communication with other companies. 
  • Promotion of the hostel services  (bonuses for any sales made). 

Requirements for the applicant:


Tourism, Hospitality, Foreign languages applied or similar

Required languages

English – C1
French – Appreciated
Spanish – Appreciated

Desired experience

would be a plus

IT skills

a social and active person who wants to learn and develop their knowledge
