This traditional manor hotel is perfectly located in the Scottish Highlands. A short drive away from Inverness, the capital of the Highlands as well as Aviemore and Cairngorms many guests choose to use this hotel as a base to explore the Highlands from. However, for those who are looking to stay put during their holidays there are plenty of activities available to do nearby such as Golf, Fishing, Climbing, Cycling, Water Sports, Walking, Ski-ing, Horse Riding, Bird Watching, Tennis & Bowling. The hotel also includes a very popular restaurant and even offers Afternoon Tea.

This would be an excellent place for a student to cary out an internship due to it’s reputation for high quality service and comfort for its’ guests. Internship tasks:

This hotel is looking for general assistants to help within both the housekeeping and restaurant departments. This would be an excellent opportunity to see how more than one hotel department functions. 

Tasks would include: 

  • Collaborate during breakfast, lunch and dinner services at different restaurants.
  • Organization and restaurant cleanup  and associated areas.
  • Customer service either for command, drink or dish collection.
  • Collaborate solving room issues ensures that you keep the facilities clean and well presented.
  • Providing customers with a first-class service by making recommendations and providing alternatives.
  • Organization of tables, cutlery, cups and bars before, during and after the restaurant services.
  • Offer advice and explain the Chef’s dishes to diners.
  • Collaborate at the entrance of the restaurant by organizing diners.
