Internship in Assistant cook/pastry cook in a luxury hotel in Mallorca

This 5 star luxury hotel, is located in the center of the city of Mallorca: one of the prime tourist destination of the Balearic Islands. It belongs to a large Spanish hotel chain with which we have been collaborating since 2012. Here you will be given the opportunity to gain experience you are looking for in areas such as reception, kitchen and catering department.

They offer a supervised internship by a tutor and include financial benefits at the end of each month. They are looking for students with training in catering, tourism, languages or administration.

The necessary skills for this internship are customer service, empathy, commitment and responsibility. These are essential tools to work in the customer service area of a luxury 5 star hotel such as this one.  

You will be in the heart of the city of Mallorca which will allow you to enjoy its surroundings and cultural activities in the city center.

In this position you would assist in the kitchen with the possability to help out for pastries as well:

Kitchen:

• Cutting fruits and vegetables
• Serve and plate the food according to the standarts
• Packing the food
• Cook on the grill, roast and fry

Pastry:

• Cut fruits and meat 
• Preparation of sauces
• Preparation of dough
• Preparation and taking care of the brakfast buffet
• Preparation of eggs during the brakfast buffet
