The team consists of young and multicultural pepople, who are always open to help the guestes and to make their trip unforgettable in the beautiful city of Granada. In the hostel they organize events such as  guided tours, parties and other activities of interest.

In the hostel you will be learning in a multi-purpose way about the different areas in the Hospitality industry, you will improve your language level and you will spend a great season in a spectacular city.


Internship tasks:

CUSTOMER SERVICE/ FRONT DESK

  • Help with the reception and service of the hotel clients throughout their stay. 
  • Ask the clients about what information or necessities they may need. 
  • Offer information about transport, places to visit, maps, activities, etc. Manage the atmosphere of the common area bar by setting the appropriate music, lighting and temperature. Facilitate the use of common areas and kitchen equipment. 
  • Promotion of daily activities. 
  • Manage the entrance and exit of clients from the hostel. 
  •  Support reception in the management of check ins and check outs. 
  • Manage the check in and check out for certain groups. 
  •  Manage and coordinate the reservations of the day. 
  • Take control and manage the quality of the arrivals for the day. 

CLEANING AND ORGANISATION

  • Support in the maintenance and cleaning of the hostel’s installations. 
  •  Keep the reception area clean and tidy. 
  • Make rounds of the builidng to check the cleanliness. 
  •  Resolves cleaning incidents in rooms and communal zones punctually. Support the flat department in the cleaning and collecting of the breakfast service and possible meals and dinners. 
  •  Keep the common room’s tables clean and tidy after breakfast. 

SERVICE OF BREAKFAST AND FOOD AND BEVERAGE

  •  Management and help in the service of breakfast, lunch and dinner. 
  • Announce the offers and promotions of the day. 
  • Prepare materials and products for the sale of breakfasts. 
  • Prepare and serve breakfasts and dinners to certain clients and groups in the hostel. 
  • Prepare the restaurant for service. 

Requirements for the applicant:

Studies

Tourism, Languages, Business

Required languages

Spanish – B1
English – B1

Desired experience

It is not required, but previous experience in Tourism or customer service is valued.

IT skills

Microsoft office

Other requirements

Excellent communication and customer service skills
