Internship in Kitchen assistant in hotel in Fuerteventura

This hotel resort is an exclusive complex on Fuerteventura, one of the Canary Islands, and it was designed especially for tourists attracted by sports and healthy living: a high quality resort where many students have done their internships in the past years.

The hotel has football pitches, tennis, handball and basketball courts, among many other facilities; in addition, its entertainment team regularly organises activities of mountain biking. This company offers students the possibility of doing internships at the reception, in marketing, business and booking management; there is also room for internships in the kitchen or restaurant, and all of that supervised by a team of top specialists with plenty experience dealing with students. Internships are paid and also provide accommodation and meals. The working hours are 5 days a week, 8 hours a day.

During the internship in the kitchen, intern under the watchful eye of Chef,  is going to participate in daily restaurant tasks.  Service over the course of breakfast, diner and supper and also realization of special events.  The most common internship tasks are:

• preparing hot and cold dishes, salads and desserts,
• elaboration during preparation entrée,  the main course and second course for breakfast, dinner and supper,
• organization of fresh, refrigerated, canned products and kitchen utensils,
• helping with cleaning and organization the kitchen before and after every service
• helping with presentation and plating the meals in Buffet
